    Thanks Norbert; this was a great summary of the discussion. Thanks also for all your tireless work to try and get back control of our own HOA. As we discussed the Board has very limited authority to file any lawsuits except with two-thirds affirmation of us owners, not the board. I believe they have abused this mandate and have wasted our funds in that pursuit. If everyone here can print, sign, and return the petition Norbert will post after we can have it legally reviewed it will save us money. We need to cover these costs as this is outside, and possibly contrary, to the majority of the current board. If we can get 33% of us, 34 owners seeing we have 100 lots, then we can call for the special meeting without contacting everyone else right now. As Norbert has already stated for the actual meeting everyone will be formally noticed so this is just to force the special meeting. Also, please consider who would be best to sit on the board so this doesn’t get away from us again. Let’s pick representatives who understand us as a whole, and not one’s who choose their opinions as dictates. There are both good and bad HOA’s in Florida, and I’m sure each of us have dealt with both types, but my hope is to get some sanity which protects our cumulative interests while understanding it is the homeowner’s’ ourselves retain the rights to live our lives with the most enjoyment we have. We all have worked hard to be able to live in this wonderful community and in my mind HOA’s should make decisions reflective of all of us and not a board of 3.     Thanks so very much for your help in educating all of us and for this communication lifeline. This positive forum is EXACTLY what the BOD should have been doing all along instead of making our building processes miserable and harassing our contractors.
